2017.12.1501:11:00UTC+00European Economics Preview: Eurozone Foreign Trade Data Due

Foreign trade data from euro area is due on Friday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Statistics Finland is set to issue trend indicator of output and the balance of payment for October.

In the meantime, Norway's foreign trade data and Turkey's unemployment figures are due. Economists forecast Turkey's jobless rate to rise slightly to 10.7 percent in September from 10.6 percent in August.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat is slated to release euro area foreign trade data for October. The trade surplus is forecast to fall to EUR 24.3 billion from EUR 25 billion in September.

At 5.30 am ET, Russia's central bank is set to announce its rate decision. The bank is widely forecast to cut its rate to 8.00 percent from 8.25 percent.

At 6.00 am ET, GDP data is due from Ireland. The economy is forecast to grow 1.6 percent sequentially in the third quarter after rising 1.4 percent in the second quarter.
