Singapore's producer prices fell at a slower rate in November, data from the Department of Statistics showed on Monday.

The manufactured producer price index fell 3.5 percent year-on-year in November, following a 5.0 percent decline in October.

The oil and non-oil indices fell 13.1 percent and 1.9 percent, respectively. Within the latter, prices of crude materials dropped the most, by 8.1 percent.

On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 1.0 percent in November, following a 1.1 percent decrease in the preceding month.

Another report from the statistical office showed that the import prices declined 4.9 percent in November, following a 6.8 percent decrease in the previous month.

On a month-on-month basis, import prices fell 0.8 percent in November, following a 0.7 percent decrease in the prior month.
